Palia Beta Thoughts
Palia is fun! I gained access to the beta on August 3rd and have played it a bit over the last few days. Overall, my impressions are good of the game.
Some Bullet Point Thoughts #
- The property building is good enough. I love plopping items everywhere.
- How do I change my cloths?
- Servers go down every once in a while. Not bad for a beta though.
- Crafting timers take some time.
- There's a Dragon Shrine!
More Thoughts #
I think I really like the game. Palia feels like the start of something special, and I want to play more of it. It has a lot of the game design aspects that I wanted to try in my own game I was making, although it seems to be missing social aspects to really round it out as an MMO. It feels like an online Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. I'm probably going to be playing this for a long time.
